Live from Long Beach: The 42nd NAMSS Conference

Last week was another action-packed NAMSS Conference. I live in California, but rarely go to Long Beach. Last week I got to see how lovely this city is, with interesting architecture, great restaurants – and most of all, fabulous NAMSS attendees.


My NAMSS experience started off on September 30 (Sunday) with the Exhibits Hall Opening Reception at 6 pm. Scores of NAMSS conference attendees flowed through the spacious exhibit hall, finding old friends and making new acquaintances and networking opportunities. There was food and fun – and an opportunity for NAMSS attendees to visit vendors and see what is being offered to assist them in their daily tasks. I got to see and talk to many of you, but not everyone – just not enough time.


There were dozens of great sessions – and at the conclusion of the conference, the CVO Symposium began at 1:30 pm on Wednesday. The response to this first Symposium was tremendous with about 200 in attendance. This response shows the interest and need for information about CVOs. I was honored to be the keynote speaker at the CVO Symposium and spoke about the Past, Present and Future as related to the CVO industry. And I felt very qualified to speak about the Past of CVOs, since I was there at the beginning!


Kudos to the NAMSS Conference Committee who arranged for so many great topics and speakers. On behalf of all NAMSS members, we are grateful – Thank You! 


VerityStream sent 35+ individuals to the NAMSS conference and I can attest to the fact that we are all energized – and exhausted, but glad to have been a part of an exceptional conference!
