Our consultants (11 of us) attended the NAMSS Conference in beautiful Colorado Springs on October 22-25. We had a great time networking with our current (and future) clients – and it was also wonderful to have time to network with our colleagues. We had a very large group representing our company – below is a picture of 34 of us at our client appreciation dinner.
In addition to visiting with clients, friends and colleagues, we enjoyed many of the conference sessions. I particularly enjoyed the Awards Breakfast, because I nominated one of the individuals who received a Hall of Fame Award. That was a really special moment for me (congratulations to Cindy Gassiot, Chris Giles and Sue King – all very deserving winners of this award)!
If you were there I hope that I had the opportunity to greet you. I was the person constantly applying lip balm and hand lotion (it is very dry in Colorado!).
Congratulations to the NAMSS committees and individuals responsible for making the arrangements for this conference – I know that those who were able to attend greatly benefited from the sessions and the networking opportunities.
A time for all NAMSS members (there are over 6,100 of us) to reflect on what NAMSS means to us individually and to the industry. The new logo is awesome – and even more important is the recognition that individuals who work in the credentialing industry now have because of NAMSS, its members and its leaders. Congratulations to all NAMSS members during this important week – celebrate with a fellow member!
